Help
When the connection gets stuck
Most common causes can be checked in a few steps.
First checks
- Check that the RemoPad receiver is open on your Mac and Bluetooth is available.
- During pairing, make sure the numbers on the Mac and controller match.
- If another device is controlling the Mac, disconnect it first. Only one device controls at a time.
- After a connection loss, old inputs should not be replayed. Reconnect to the saved Mac. Do not delete pairings as a general troubleshooting step.
- On the Mac, check the receiver's required Accessibility permission.
Diagnostics are optional
Optional diagnostics are off by default. When enabled, the app keeps a bounded amount of diagnostic information temporarily in memory. You can create an export manually and share it yourself. Turning diagnostics off does not delete files already exported; delete those files yourself if needed.
A possible export can include event types with relative times and opaque local identifiers to help relate events. Review an export for personal or sensitive content before sharing it. V1 has no analytics or advertising trackers.
Support
Write to info@habitfit.de. Gerry Bittner answers requests personally. Only attach a diagnostics export after reviewing it; how support messages are processed is described in the privacy policy.
