Getting started
Connect your Mac and controller
RemoPad consists of the app for iPhone and Apple Watch and the free receiver for your Mac.
Requirements
- Mac with macOS 27 or later and Bluetooth
- iPhone with iOS 27 or later, optionally Apple Watch with watchOS 27 or later
Download the Mac receiver
Coming soon The download will appear here when RemoPad launches. The receiver is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple so macOS opens it without warnings.
Setup
- Install the receiver. Open the ZIP file and drag RemoPad to your Applications folder. The receiver appears in the menu bar.
- Grant permission. macOS asks for the Accessibility permission (System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility). Without it the receiver cannot perform input.
- Start pairing. Open pairing on the Mac and select the Mac in RemoPad on iPhone. Apple Watch has its own pairing.
- Compare numbers. Confirm the three numbers on both sides only if they match.
- Control. The controlling app must be in the foreground. If the connection drops, all input stops; simply reconnect to the saved Mac.
What to expect
- iPhone and Apple Watch control the Mac, not the other way round. Only one device controls the Mac at a time.
- Trackpad, pointer speed, haptics and pairing are free; Pro adds media, arrow keys and short-video navigation.
- How media and navigation commands behave depends on the active Mac app.
